Long & Crooked Lakes Association Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

1. The meeting was called to order by Ken at 6:35 pm.
2. The meeting minutes of June 26, 2018 were approved.
3. Neighborhood Social Event Status– Judie and Randy
a. Will be held Tuesday, August 7 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm in conjunction with National Night Out.
i. Randy will need help at 4:30 for set-up and after the event, tear-down.
b. Event held at the home of Randy and Marisa Thole
i. Marisa has rented tables.
c. LCLA will contribute $500 to event and use the $100 contributed by Telcom Construction from the 2017 Annual Meeting.
d. Menu will be pulled chicken and buns with hot dogs for kids
i. Bring Your Own Beverage
ii. Bring a lawn chair
iii. Attendees will be asked to bring a side dish
iv. Dan will provide name tags, plates and eating utensils for 200 people.
e. Randy will put up a sign at the end of Eaglewood Road announcing the event.
f. A flyer will be distributed (attached to mailbox) on August 1. Randy will create the flyer, and board members will distribute. Dan to provide distribution assignments.
g. LCLA will have a booth with a placard for dues (DT to provide) ($20.00/household) and information about AIS
4. 2018 Annual Meeting Planning
a. Annual Meeting will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, September 22 at the Clearwater Legion. Social hour from 10:00 – 11:00 and business meeting at 11:00 am.
b. When a household pays the dues, they will be given 2 drink tickets. LCLA will pay for the two drinks.
5. The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 pm.
